Winter has arrived, and with it comes a season of reflection, gratitude, and continued impact at Prairie Gleaners.
In this issue, we’re sharing highlights from several winter shipments that carried much needed food to communities around the world, along with important holiday and reopening dates for the plant. As we close out the year, we’re also taking a moment to say thank you. Thanks to the incredible support of our volunteers, donors, growers, and prayer partners, our 2025 budget has been met and this ministry remains strong as we look ahead to a new year of serving together.
Shipments in Winter 2025
November 5 – Ethnos Canada takes 25 bags to Philippines
November 14 – Holiness Christian Church takes 50 bags to Jamaica
November 27 – Faith Missions takes 2,240 bags to Ukraine
December 4 – Global Emergency Missions takes 10,080 bags to Ukraine

Christmas Hours for Prairie Gleaners
- December 21-28—the plant will be closed
- December 29, 30, 31—maintenance and cleaning at the plant
- January 1—the plant will be closed
- January 2, 5, 6, 7— maintenance and cleaning at the plant
- Thursday, January 8th 8:30 a.m.— Plant reopens to volunteers and the processing of vegetables. A New Year begins!!!
